Tutoring

Target audience

  • High-school level pupils (AHS/BHS in Austria, “Gym­na­si­um”/“Be­rufs­gym­na­si­um” in Germany):
    All topics discussed in information technology, digital technology and computer science classes
  • Students in predominantly programming-related courses:
    • Introductory courses focused on programming
    • Introductory courses on the subject of informatics / computer science in general
    • Information security
    • Computer organization and networks
    • System-level programming and operating systems

  • Trainees in IT-focused apprenticeships (“Lehr­be­ruf­” in Austria/Germany)

Place and Time

  • Meeting times are negotiated individually during afternoon or evening
  • Depending on your preference, lessons may be held in Graz Mariatrost/Kroisbach (preferred), at your place if you live near Graz or online
  • Lessons can be held just once (in­ter­ven­tion­s), scheduled as needed or at regular intervals

Price

  • Base fee: 30€/h (1h = 60min, 1 Person)
  • Per additional attendee: +10€/h
  • Trip supplement: None if travelling time by bicycle ≤15min (map), 5€ per additional 15 minutes or part thereof
    • When travelling using public transport, ticket fees (both ways, currently 2,40€ per zone) are billed as well
  • First hour always due in full; rounded to 5€ (10min) beyond
  • When cancelling less than 2 days in advance, first hour is due as cancellation fee
    • At my discretion, no fee applies in the event of illness
